Story Line
As said above, the web series Jehanabad of Love and War is based on the famous 2005 jailbreak incident in Jehanabad, Bihar. Sudhir Mishra created the adaptation. During the election season, the Naxalites staged one of the largest jailbreaks in Bihar, sending the state administration scrambling for cover.
This breakout resulted in the escape of approximately 370 inmates from the Jehanabad jail.

Love and drama
However, Jehanabad, SonyLiv’s new crime drama, features a love story that runs parallel to the naxalites’ plotting their attack. In this story dated November 13, 2005, when the Naxals kidnap Abhimanyu, so she tries her best to save her love.

Ritwik Bhowmik’s character has many ups and downs in this web series. In the first half of the series Ritwik seems to be quite controlled in showing his emotions, in the second half, he shows more good scope.
Harshita Gaur
Harshita Gaur was fantastic in her role. She plays a rebellious and brave young woman in Jehanabad of Love and War who will go to any length to win the love of her life. She provides some calm among the chaos, not just for Abhimanyu but also for the viewers. She is annoying sometimes, but she never makes the character unrealistic.
Naxal commander
Deepak Kumar, the hot-headed naxal commander who doesn’t think twice before any action, is played brilliantly by Parambrata Chattopadhyay.
Rajat Kapoor
Rajay Kapoor has played the role of a shrewd politician. He has done justice to the role, although there is nothing new in the role.
Other Casts
All the other cast of the series have played their role in a very good manner. You will love to watch them. Satyadeep Mishra, who plays a well-meaning police officer, and Suneel Sinha, who plays a Maoist conspirator, are two of the more convincing actors in a show that looks elsewhere for the chilli powder that is already abundant. Rajesh Jais and Sonal Jha played the role of Kasturi’s long-suffering parents.
