Pursue medicine as a career in Abroad:
Many NEET qualified candidates go abroad to pursue their career in medicine. Experts estimate that every year approximately more than 1 lakh students go abroad.
This year there are so many issues with the visa policy and other health issues. Parents are more concern about their children this year. There are a lot of chance that there will be a sharp decline in no of students taking admission abroad this year. It could make an impact on Cutoff this year. Experts are expecting there will be rise in cutoff for admission.
MBBS from Private college:
Although most of the students have their first choice to pursue MBBS in a government college. However, if a candidate is not able to get it through, they can opt for MBBS degree in a private college but that is not possible for everyone, it could cost around Rs 80 lakh to Rs 1 crore. So students can opt for BDS or veterinary courses.
The Aayush Ministry also offers various courses like BAMS, BHMS, candidates can also opt these courses. These courses are also popular and have Specialization like MD.
BSc/ B Pharma and other health science courses:
Those who are having low rank have the options to pursue career in allied health science. They can indirectly treat patients by pursuing Courses like BSc courses like biotechnology, nursing, physiotherapy and other health science courses. .
If one have eager for research and Teaching can opt pure science subjects like BSc with zoology, biology, or chemistry at the undergraduate level and go for specialization at the postgraduate level.
Try again for next year:
If one is really have interest and eager to pursue career in Medicine can opt a drop year. It is not a big deal for your interest. We all know that it is not easy for Preparing for such a high competitive level national exam NEET along with class 12. We have seen many students who secured around 200 marks one year and make 600+ marks in next year. So if someone drop a year for his dream, must do that. One would be able to see better results if they devote an entire year to NEET preparation.
